Almost there...

Today I took the time to fix my hair and Jesse was so nice to take some new pregnancy pictures of me. I'm about 35 weeks and so glad to be nearing the end of this 9-month journey. I'm totally ready for this baby boy to arrive! His clothes are washed and folded, his carseat is waiting by the door, diapers are stacked, his bed is made, and so on. Oh, and his name has been picked! But you will have to wait a few more weeks to find out!

A little nervous...

Today I am 33 1/2 weeks pregnant. My waistline is measuring where I was at 38 weeks with Ivan. I'm no heavier than at 33 weeks with my other pregnancies...just bigger in the waist. This baby MUST be bigger. AND stronger. What kind of baby still does somersaults during very strong Braxton Hicks contractions? Please please please let this one come early like the other two kids!

Conversations with Adelle

Me: Ugh! (as I walk off to get some Tums)

Adelle: Are you mad because you're sick of your allergies?

Me: No, I have heartburn because I'm pregnant.

Adelle: What's that?

Me: Well, the baby is pushing on my stomach and it makes the acid come up my throat. It really hurts.

Adelle: I guess it's not much fun being pregnant sometimes.

Me: Nope. Sometimes it SUCKS!

Adelle: I bet you wish you could just lay an egg and wait for it to hatch.

Me: Adelle, it would be wonderful if I could do that! I like how you think.
