And so the blogging begins...

I've been blogging away in my mind for about a year now after becoming addicted to several other "mommy blogs." I found myself asking, "why do I feel compelled to blog when I typically hate writing so much?" I think it's because I CRAVE adult conversation and I love to talk. However, with two kids at home most conversations with my husband, or anyone else, get interrupted so many times I can't remember what we were talking about in the first place. Jesse and I can now communicate with our eyes... For example, when Ivan is crying so loud there is no point trying to talk we just give each other that knowing look that says, "We'll talk later I guess."
